The RogueSphere concept started years ago with
the idea that my interest, hobbies and talents shaped the person that I am
today. In essence, these things made up my own little unique world. A
"Rogue Sphere" so to speak. All of these qualities within me vary to
such a degree, that it can be considered quite unique. I am bike builder, a
carpenter, I make Art Dolls, I sculpt, I am a videographer, a writer, an aspiring Irish Whistle musician and always
seeking something new to learn. RogueSphere Cyclery is only part of my
world yet it plays a big role in my life. As kids growing up in the
neighborhoods of Los Angeles
California, bikes were a big part
of our lives. From sliding spinouts on the Big Wheel to my Sears Screamer and
then the Free Spirit 10 speed. Finally receiving my fathers coveted Royce Union.
My experience with building bicycles spans 24 years. In 1984 I started assembling and repairing bicycles in California for now gone but not forgotten FEDCO INC. I spent time as a merchandiser, a schematics specialist, a data analyst, and as you can probably tell...a professional hobbyist. I restored classic cars with my father, and designed wood cabinets for model trains.
Now I live in Edmonton, Alberta Canada and found myself drawn back to my roots. I am now building a repairing bicycles for retail outlets but wanted to stretch my creative talents once again. Thus RogueSphere Cyclery was created. My goal is to create and offer unique bicycles, aquire classic bikes and restore bikes that stand out not only in every crowd, but in every mind.
When I ride one of my bikes around people always stop me to say how much they like my bike or to reminisce about they bikes that meant a lot to them when they were young. Now through RogueSphere they can roll that crowd pleaser or take a relaxing ride back down memory lane whenever they want, because....
If you want to ride...Ride a RogueSphere!
